A message from our Chairman
Mrs Di Kalus

It is with great pleasure that I represent the Centre as your
new Chairman.Firstly, I must thank our retiring Chairman Pete Haynes,
and his wife Moira, who is standing down as Rally Secretary.
Both Pete and Moira have given many years service to the Centre
and we will miss them on Committee. Also standing down this year is
Julie Bowen whom I thank for all her hard work. Hopefully we will still
see them on the Rally field.
We are a select group of Officers and Committee this year, and I thank
them all for their support in my first year as Chairman. I welcome
Richard Reynolds who has re-joined us this year to take on the role of
Rally Secretary.
I look forward to working with them all to ensure our Centre members
continue to enjoy their caravanning and motorhoming with the
Gloucestershire Centre.
We have a varied programme of rallies this year, and I am looking
forward to our extended rally in Cirencester Park to celebrate our
2,500th Rally. This rally will see us all entertained with 5 nights of
exciting live entertainment as well as daytime activities.
The National is much closer to home this year, at Ragley Hall,
Alcester, Warwickshire. It would be great to see you all there.

Our two Facebook pages are an excellent source of information as well
as a record of photos from rallies old and new. Both these are
complemented by our Website with everything you need to know
about our Centre. Thanks to both Richard Reynolds for monitoring
Facebook for 2019, and Malcolm Pellatt for his ongoing management
of the website. I must also thank our Centre members who give up their
time to run rallies and
help with Charity fund-raising events, without whom, we would not be
able to function as a Centre. I would also like to take this opportunity
to invite anyone who would be prepared to run a rally or help to run a
rally, to speak to any of the Committee who would be more than happy
to support you.
Finally, I wish you all a happy rallying season in 2019 with the
Gloucestershire
Centre, and Steve and I look forward to seeing you all on the rally field.
Best wishes, Di.
