A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

Dear Members,
It is with pleasure that I look forward to my second year as your Chairman.
My thanks go to the retiring Committee, Ann Bevan, David Finch and
Tony Haynes, for all their dedication and hard work they have given
to the Centre by serving on the Committee for a good number of years.
2016 was a very busy year with the Gloucestershire Centre 40th Celebration
and also the Bi-Annual Wessex Rally. A lot of hard work for the Committee
and my thanks go to all those who were involved and those who took part.
A most successful and enjoyable time.
This coming year we are fortunate that we have a full Committee who have
volunteered to serve, and some younger members too! I thank you and hope
you will enjoy the challenge.
This year the National Rally is being held at Sandringham, with a follow on
Rally invite from Worcestershire. I hope you find the Rallies for 2017
interesting, with a few new venues and five holiday rallies to choose from.
I would like to thank all the Rally Officers for offering to run the rallies and
Moira, our rally secretary for organising them.
We are fortunate to have two dates in the diary for our Charity Coffee
Mornings at the Town Hall in Tewkesbury. We also have The Rikenel Car
Parking for our Charity. These raise a good amount and volunteers to help
are always needed.
I would just like to finish by wishing you all a Happy Rallying Season with
the Gloucestershire Centre, and Moira and I look forward to meeting
you all on the rally field.

Pete Haynes
